Adolescent Levels: First Day Logistics

Below are some logistics to keep in mind as your adolescent comes to school Tuesday morning. The building opens at 8am for adolescent students, advisory starts at 8:30.

Advisory Maps

As adolescent students arrive, they should check the posted advisory lists to identify their advisor. These Advisory Maps will be posted to direct students to their advisory locations.  

Class Schedules & Elective Change Process

In advisory, A2 and A3 students will receive their schedules.  A1 students will not have schedules until after the Odyssey.  See the previous blog post on A1 logistics. Any requests for schedule changes must be submitted in paper to Stacey in the file outside the Upper Admin Office.  Forms can be found here or in the literature display outside the Upper Admin office.

Students will be notified by their Great River email account that their request has been granted, denied, or if they need to select another elective option.  Students should attend their original class until receiving notification of an approved change unless otherwise directed by Administration.

Email/Powerschool Access

If a student needs access to their greatriver.org email address or to Powerschool, they should fill out an Access Request Form. These forms can also be found in the literature display outside the Upper Admin Office and should be submitted in the file outside the Upper Admin Office.
