The first day of school is around the corner on Tuesday, September 6th!
In anticipation of the return of students and staff, there is always lots to do, and we families can sometimes help out. For those able and willing to lend a hand, we have scheduled two kinds of work parties beginning next week:
- Snail-mailing (envelope-stuffing) parties on Wednesday, August 17th from 12:00-4:00 & Thursday, August 18th from 8:00-noon
- Building beautification work on Saturday, August 20th, from 9:00-1:00 & Tuesday, August 23rd from 3:00-7:00
If you can help out for a couple hours or more, please follow this link to sign up and let us know when to expect you!

P.S. As we get closer to the start of the school year, keep your eyes open for:
- Your invitation to Back to School Night, the all-school orientation on Thursday, September 1st.
- Requests for helping hands supporting our various Adolescent Key Experience Trips. There are tasks to be done before the kids leave, but the most significant work will be helping to clean and sort all the gear when everyone returns from their adventures.
The Parent Engagement Group's next meeting is Wednesday, August 24th from 6:30-8:30 at GRS in the A3 Commons. All are welcome to attend! For more info about our mission and leadership, see the PEG homepage.
