Seeking Montessori Ambassadors for State Fair Booth!

The Minnesota Montessori Network is looking for volunteers to staff the Montessori booth at the State Fair! Interested? Sign up online!

The Montessori booth, located in the Education Building, allows the Fair's million-plus visitors to learn about the Montessori method. 

The job of volunteers is to answer visitors' questions and to allow children to work with Montessori materials. The materials featured are fairly intuitive, so Montessori training isn't required. 

A volunteer at last year's booth reports, "I can honestly say it was one of the most rewarding things I did last year. Children literally leap out of their strollers to get their hands on the materials."

Each shift needs three people. Of these only one needs to be a trained classroom guide. Parents and students in the Adolescent levels are welcome and encouraged to volunteer and share their from their experience!
