Parent Ed Night Dec. 2: OWL (for 8th & 9th grade parents)

Our Whole Lives (OWL) Adolescent Sexuality Education

December 2, 2015: 6:00-8:00 PM, Doors open at 5:45

At Great River eighth and ninth grade students receive OWL curriculum: a progressive approach to sexuality education that deals with the totality of human sexuality in an age-appropriate manner.  Ninth grade students attend courses either in the fall or the spring, eighth grade students will attend the course starting February 2016.

OWL is based on the values of self-worth, sexual health, responsibility, justice, and inclusivity. Join us for a presentation on the OWL 7-9th grade program by Karin Egge and Danny Ross, co-instructors in our ninth grade OWL program.

A1 and A2  parents and others interested in learning about the OWL program at Great River are welcome!

Event will be held in the Dining Hall, Great River School, East Campus.  Park on campus in the south and north Great River parking lots.
