For the last 3 years a GRS student has travelled to and participated in the IB World Student Conference. They have made friends from all over the world and had a blast working with students to engage in global thinking, learning and problem solving. GRS students attended conferences in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada and the United Kingdom.

1 • IB WSC in Barcelona: Technology in a global society (July 5-11)
On 5-11 July, the International Baccalaureate® (IB) will hold a World Student Conference in Spain at La Salle Campus Barcelona - Ramon Llull University.
At the conference, IB students from around the world will collaborate to develop innovative solutions to global issues. Students will hear from inspiring speakers, engaging in thoughtful inquiry focused on the conference theme, in small sessions. They'll also participate in excursions and recreational activities.
These experiences encourage building meaningful relationships with peers and developing international understanding and leadership skills that benefit participants far beyond the conference week.
