JUNIORS **Oct. 16, 2017: Deadline to register for IB Exams for Juniors**
Juniors who are not IB Diploma candidates: During the next 3 weeks you need to decide whether you would like to take any IB exams in your IB courses. By Wed, Sept. 27 there will be a paper form for registering for exams in the upper commons, and Melanie will explain students' options at the community meeting. Start thinking about which IB exams, if any, you might like to take. Most IB exams, except Environmental Systems and Societies, are taken in May senior year. Enviro is a one-year course, so you take the exam in May the year that you're enrolled in the course. Deadline to register for IB exams for juniors is October 16, 2017. (Juniors are free to drop registration for an exam anytime before mid-October 2018, but they may not add registration for an IB exam after Oct. 16, 2017.)
Questions about what the IB exams are like in each course? Ask your IB teachers. General IB exam registration questions? Ask Melanie atmelanie@greatriverschool.org. If you are a junior IB Diploma candidate, there is nothing you need to do at this time regarding IB exam registration.
