IB Info Night Thurs Apr 12 6:30PM

IB information night - for all families & especially current sophomores
Find out about what it means to pursue the International Baccalaureate Diploma and choices in the IB program in 11th and 12th grade at GRS. This is the official night to gain information before sophomores make decisions about pursuing the IB diploma.

WHAT: IB information night
WHEN: Thursday, April 12 at 6:30 pm
WHERE: Upper Commons
FOR WHOM: Families, especially parents/guardians of sophomores. Sophomores will participate in a similar orientation at school in early April.

Melanie Peterson-Nafziger, IB coordinator, will present information about the IB program, IB choices in 11th and 12th grade at GRS including specifics about what it means to pursue the IB Diploma, and will answer questions, share past IB exams, etc. This will be most useful for parents of sophomores, since sophomores need to register to pursue the IB Diploma by April 20, 2018; families with younger students are, of course, also welcome if they are curious about their future choices in the IB program. Melanie will hand out IB Diploma registration forms to sophomores at school in early April and will also provide registration forms at this open house and on the IB page of the GRS website.  If a student would like to be a candidate for the IB Diploma in 11th and 12th grade, they need to complete and return the IB Diploma registration form to the GRS front desk by April 20, 2018.
