The Soiree is coming up - TONIGHT at the CanCan Wonderland. If you haven't been there before now is a great time to check it out. It is normally not open on Wednesday, so we will have the place to ourselves, including free mini-golf. You can get your tickets at the door for $40.  The event is from 6-9pm. 

If your decision to attend is hinging on childcare you can sign up here for childcare at school with Big Canoe Club.

Childcare RSVP for March 14 Soiree Please use this form to sign up for childcare during Great River School's annual soiree. Childcare hours are from 5:30-9:30 pm. Suggested donation is $10 per hour; all proceeds go to the GRS annual fund!

At the Soiree you will have a chance to sign up Great Gatherings, this year we have over 40 GG!  Some of them sell out fast, so the earlier you arrive at the Soiree, the better your chance of getting signed up! But don't worry, for those with space left, you can also sign ups at conferences later this week. I am hosting and co-hosting a few including an adolescent game night.  You can preview the Great Gatherings here. 

The Soiree committee is still looking for many volunteers to help at Soiree and at conferences to staff the Soiree table.  Most spots are for an hour.  Check out the Sign up Genius to see how you can help. I will be there throughout the event setting up the wine pull and other fun activities. I look forward to seeing all of you there! 

Other Volunteer Needs

Just a reminder that all families are expected to give 20 hours of volunteer time each year. If you haven't yet, here are some other opportunities.

We've had a fairly good response to the conference potluck, there is still much need of volunteers for Thursday dinner and Friday breakfast, as well as food donations for all meals. If you can sign up for even a partial shift, that would still be helpful. They will be setting up the day before conferences to try to make the eating area look special for the guides/staff who will be clocking long hours, and it would be terrific if the posts to serve/prepare the meals are fully "staffed" with volunteers.
