Please join the Parent Engagement Group (PEG) for an evening of fun + new connections tomorrow - Monday, Feb. 27. If you've never been to a PEG meeting, now is a great time to get involved.
We'll start with a brief meeting covering current issues and upcoming events from 6:00-6:45 PM in the Upper Humanities room. At 6:45 PM we'll move to the Multi-Purpose space for a parent social. Snacks and refreshments will be served. This will be a time to meet PEG members and hear more about how to get involved.

More about the film Miss Representation:
The media is selling the idea that girls’ and women’s value lies in their youth, beauty, and sexuality and not in their capacity as leaders. Boys learn that their success is tied to dominance, power, and aggression. We must value people as whole human beings, not gendered stereotypes. See more at the film's website. This event is sponsored by PEG's ParenTeen Transitions committee.
ALL are welcome for the PEG meeting at 6:00, parent social at 6:45 and film at 7:00! See you tomorrow!
Reminder: This marks a shift in PEG's meeting schedule. To better accommodate parent schedules, PEG will no longer meet on Wednesdays coinciding with school board meetings. Instead, meetings will be held on the second Monday of each month beginning in March.
