We're looking for Angel Investors! (no money will actually change hands)
The A3 Economics elective course is finishing a Business Plan writing unit and will be planning to present final business plans to investors in early January.
Each presentation will last about 10 minutes and will include information about
- Market Research
- Advertising Plan
- Operations
- Human Resources
- Finances and Accounting
The plans are centered on renting retail space in Dinkytown adjacent to the U of M campus and starting a business in that location.
We would like you to use your experience to ask the challenging and pragmatic questions necessary in this important business planning stage.
We will be presenting projects on Monday, January 9th and Tuesday, January 10th from 9:30 - 10:30 each morning.
We're looking for 2-3 investors for each day. We will provide the "funds"! There will be several layers of investors - and the winning group receives an automatic A.
