The next meeting of the ParenTeen Transitions (PTT) Book Club will be Friday, Dec. 16. It will run from 7pm to 10pm.
The group is intended to act like a ECFE (Early Childhood Family Education) support and discussion group for families with teens.
We're discussing the book "How to Talk So Teens Will Listen and Listen so Teens Will Talk" by Adele Faber and Elaine Mazlish. One GRS parent reported that this book transformed her relationship with her kids.
Missed the first Book Club's first meeting? No problem! All are welcome and you can easily pick up in the midst of the discussion. This is a no-pressure, casual book club! Feel free to read or skim or just show up and catch the Cliff Notes version.
