If your Thanksgiving plans include a run to the wine shop or liquor store, please consider picking up an extra bottle or two to donate to the Great River Soiree "bottle pull"!
This can be a bottle of wine, a 6-pack of beer or any other liquor. We ask that the donation be valued at $10 or more. One source to consider is Midway Liquor, near Menard's on University Ave - they're offering 20% off all wines through December 3.
What is the "bottle pull" and how does it work, you ask? During the Soiree event in February, there will be a table where guests can purchase a cork with a number on it. Match the number on the cork to a bottle and take it home! Easy as that. This is a great fundraiser for GRS, but we need your help in collecting bottles to make it work! You can drop off bottles at the Front Office at any time. They will then be locked up securely and stored until the event.
