Hello Great River families! A message below from the folk dance teacher who has been working with the lower elementary this quarter, and will begin work with the upper elementary soon. All families are invited to the Family Folk Dance from 2-3pm this coming Saturday!
We are excited for the HARVEST FESTIVAL at Great River School on Saturday, October 15th from 2-5.
We are writing to invite you to come and join us for the Family Folk Dance from 2:00 - 3:00 at the Harvest Festival. All the dances will be taught - they are user-friendly and fun! I encourage you
to dance with your child. They know what they are doing and will be great dance partners!
Our dance music will be live: Great River parent, Jim Parker, will be playing with our wonderful
fiddler, Linda Breitag.
The Grade 1-3 students have been learning these dances since the first day of school and are
eager to share them with you! I look forward to seeing you all on the dance floor at 2:00!
