Melanie will check in with each junior and senior regarding their IB exam plans. Students should see Melanie to register or deregister for May 2017 IB exams. Melanie will mail an IB exam invoice home when each student confirms their May 2017 IB exam plans.

Final day for senior IB Diploma candidates to submit a draft of their Extended Essays to their mentors
Firm deadline: Senior IB Diploma candidates must submit an EE draft by Oct. 24, or they will no longer be a candidate for the IB Diploma.

Last day to pay for/make a plan to pay for May 2017 exams
To request a scholarship for IB exams, you must complete an Application for Educational Benefits. If you haven't already applied for educational benefits this year, you may download the application here and submit it to Andria Sibert by late October. Students who qualify for free/reduced lunch receive a 100% scholarship for IB exam fees as long as they follow through and submit all IB internal assessments and sit for all IB exams in good faith. You may also let Melanie know that you would like to pay for IB exam fees in monthly installments and may request a partial scholarship even if you do not qualify for educational benefits. Please email Melanie a request if you family is unable to pay for IB exam fees. ALL families, regardless of income, may choose to pay only 50% of exam fees, as the state of Minnesota will reimburse a portion of students' IB exam fees next summer. Your IB exam invoice (if your student is choosing to sit for IB exams) will have more details and options regarding payment when you receive it in the mail.
