Our A1 students have passed the half-way mark on their Odyssey!
Read on for a description of Bus Two's recent stops and more photos from both buses...
Bus Two
Tami writes, "Recent travels around Wind Cave National Park brought bus 2 to Wind Cave. Students traversed through the cave filled with awe and wonder - it was hard to answer all the questions! We also traveled on an1880's steam train- a highlight for many. Our time at the Black Hills Institute gave us time for independence and freedom as students visited local shops in small groups. The Black Hills Institute was filled with over 2000 fossils from throughout geologic time. Students sat alone and drew in silence - offering some much needed alone time."
"Last night students hiked, played frisbee, or conversed with friends. The evening meeting allowed for group singing and reflection about what our responsibility to our community is. This morning we visited The Mammoth Site - an ancient sink hole that has preserved over 60 Columbian and Woolly Mammoths."
