May 4th: Bike to School Day!

On Wednesday,  May 4th Great River School will host a school-wide Bike to School Day event! 

Sponsored by MnDOT and local businesses that support biking to school, Great River students of all grades are invited to bike to school to improve health, happiness, and environmental impact. 

Meet up with other students and parents to ride to school at these locations. Helmets required. Make sure to notify the group leader at your preferred meet up spot that you plan to ride with them so you don’t get left behind:

Martinson’s home (departing at 8:00am), 1618 Laurel Avenue, Saint Paul (near Dairy Queen on Snelling Avenue). Contact Kelly at kelly@ksquare.us or 651-645-2880.

Parents can support all riders by joining the group ride, especially if your student is a novice rider or needs extra attention. Parent volunteers leading the ride shall not be liable for any damages arising from personal injuries (including death) that are a result of student participation in the Great River School National Bike to School Day event.
