Three Great River students helped the Charter Stars basketball team earn a second place trophy at the Calvin Christian Invitational Basketball Tournament December 28th through the 30th.
Eight teams participated in this hard-fought tournament. The Charter Stars beat Learning For Leadership Charter 82 to 40. They went on to beat a very good Calvin Christian team 66 to 44. But they lost to Lake Park - Audubon (from Northern Minnesota) 59 - 45 in the championship game.
