Julia Nelson's New Position @ Great River

Julia Nelson is moving from Front Desk Coordinator to a new position within Great River School; she will serve the community in the role of School Events Liaison.

In her new capacity, Julia will support public events and the on-site execution of major Parent and School planned events. As liaison, she will assure that the building is open, welcoming, and needs of organizers are met. Julia will also join the team of classroom substitute teachers that serve our student community as needed during the regular school day.
Julia’s incredible relationships and knowledge of Great River’s students and families are a wonderful match for this role.

Julia's final morning at the front desk will be Monday, October 5th. Please congratulate Julia on her new role and thank her for her service the past year at the Front Desk!

Ellen Greene will fill the role of interim Front Office Coordinator. Ellen has experience in community organizing and non-profit administration. She holds a degree in economics, and she just finished a master's degree in Divinity. She loves working to support small communities. Thank you for helping us welcome Ellen to the front office as we celebrate Julia’s new role.
