Forestry Occupation Needs a Refridge Donated - Curious? Read on!

Forestry Occupation is looking for a family to donate a refrigerator that is in good working condition and is energy efficient. If you are needing to get rid of your old one or have an extra fridge around the house, please consider donating it to Great River.

Forestry - Trees - Refrigerator?  Great Question!
Forestry Occupation is in the process of working with the University of Minnesota - Forestry Dept. to start a tree nursery right here at GRS. This is a very cool and a very complex process. Many tree seeds and seedlings need to be in cold storage (cold stratified) within a range of 36-42 degrees before they can be germinated or placed outdoors. The fridge will find it's home in the lower lab and be used for forestry occupation and for various science courses.

If you think you can fulfill this need that is wonderful and GREATLY appreciated!
