Sunrise at Baraga State Park
|
Hello A1 families!
After a very cold night spent at Baraga State Park, we ended breakfast with a round of Happy Birthday to a student who transitioned into her teens this morning.
Next, we experienced a lovely visit to the Alberta Sawmill Museum and received compliments that our "group was the most polite students he had ever met.... (more cont'd)
and were like sponges with receiving the tour information." Agreed :)
Now, we are pulling in a bit early to camp to allow for some rest and settling in before a busy day tomorrow of touring Mackinac Island and Historic Mill Creek. Riding a ferry, and of course, the legendary fudge experience.
Students are bonding, working towards group goals of making dinner (for some it's the first time cutting vegetables or using stoves) and cleaning.
All is well on the Odyssey :)
Sincerely, the North Bus
