We ended yesterday with a breathtakingly beautiful sunset on the Indiana sand dunes along Lake Michigan and a night time hike with a naturalist tour guide who taught us barred owl calls.
Hearing 50 young adults (admittedly, alongside their 5 adults) making guttural throat calls of "who cooks for you? Hoo hoo hoo" in the dark & deep woods was a connecting (and amusing) experience for sure! I wonder if we scared the tourists as we called the owls

Today we arose bright & early an were on the bus heading east by 7:45 a.m.
The 2015 Odyssey East has been a magical experience but we are looking forward to the warm embraces waiting for us back at GRS.
Estimated arrival is 5 p.m. but I'll keep this communication updated as we are closer and have an exact hour...
