GRS Parent Marie Rickmyer has arranged for Great River School to participate in the Whole Foods Community Giving Day. On Tuesday, August 11th, Whole Foods will donate 5% of their profit to Great River. In the past, this day usually earns around $3000.

This is a great way to help support our school and the great programming by doing one of three things:
- Volunteer for the day. We need volunteers from 10:30-1 and 3:30-6. You can bring your children. There will be activities at the table as well as talk about our gardens and beehives with those that are interested. No selling involved!
- Shop at Whole Foods on Tuesday. August 11th: 5% of your grocery bill will go to Great River. Make it your shopping day. Or bring your family in for lunch and pick up dinner on your way home.
- Tell your friends and family about it--post this link: https://www.facebook.com/events/942775169097086/on your Facebook page and other social media outlets such as Instagram--have your children do the same to help influence their peers and parents of their peers. I used the link from Whole Foods' page and created an event and sent to my entire FB family.
